English: Lorette Brasserie in Whistler is a newcomer, having opened in April 2025, but it already feels like a local favorite. Think of it as a tapas-style restaurant with a French twist, where every dish is meant to be shared. We started our evening with a French wine, the Ahi Tuna Tartare, and the Demi Baguette. While the bread and butter were lovely, the tartare completely stole the show. Perfectly balanced flavors and textures made it an absolute must-have. Next came the goat cheese dumplings, and wow… these were outstanding. The pairing of the creamy cheese with the curated tomatoes and that delicate, flavorful sauce is simply brilliant. For our main course, we went with the steak and frites, and it was anything but ordinary. The sauce was rich and addictive, the steak was cooked to perfection, and even the fries were memorable. We finished with the crème brûlée, featuring caramelized white chocolate and raspberries. Even though we were already full, we couldn’t stop until the dish was spotless. The combination was flawless. Lorette Brasserie is now my favorite spot in Whistler. If you love French flavors, thoughtful plating, and a warm atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. A combinação é perfeita. Staff was also super nice and welcoming. We will be back for sure. I think we have tried every restaurant in Whistler and this may be in the TOP 2. Amazing food and space. 2 small suggestions: it would be nice to have a slightly larger cocktail menu with some different takes on classic drinks, and also a couple of extra vegetable sides. Will be back! CC2025-08-02Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Outstanding brunch! Eggs benedict is 5 stars - finally a place that knows how to do hollandaise right (with a touch of lemon so it has some flavor vs nothing but eggs and butter). The hangover sandwich was good but was very heavy on the sausage (thinner slices might work better?) - it made it tough to eat and fell apart after only a few bites. We are definitely coming back to try the croque madam. Yo Ann2025-08-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I should admit, my expectations were not super high, and boy, was I blown away! Food and cocktails were sophisticated, in the best possible way. Portions are european-sized, which is an opportunity to try more dishes and share them. Great quality products and a whole lot of work and attention goes into preparing them. Simply amazing. The food was superb. Solid portion sizes and incredibly tasty. For "just breakfast" it was a step above other local breakfasts. Chef’s preparations are beautifully done, and wonderful flavors. We enjoyed the duck confit, beef bourgignon, smoked halibut, and coquilles st. jacques.
